Ritual guide

Which wrist should you wear a gemstone bracelet on?

Many gemstone traditions connect the left wrist with receiving energy and the right wrist with expressing it. The best choice depends on your intention, your comfort, and how you want the bracelet to support your day.

The left wrist tradition

Many crystal traditions describe the left side as the receiving side. People often wear gemstone bracelets on the left wrist when they want to absorb or invite the stone's qualities.

For lapis lazuli, this could mean inviting wisdom, calm, intuition, and honest self-reflection.

The right wrist tradition

The right side is often seen as the expressive side. Wearing a bracelet on the right wrist can represent projecting the stone's qualities outward through action, speech, and presence.

If your intention is to communicate clearly or lead with confidence, the right wrist may feel more aligned.

Choose what feels natural

Comfort matters. If one wrist feels better for typing, writing, or daily movement, choose that one. Jewellery becomes meaningful when it fits your life, not when it follows a rule perfectly.
